Why to submit an extended abstract

Eligibility

To eligible for submission the abstract must:

Be accepted for presentation at TDWG2026,
Be scheduled for presentation / have been presented at TDWG2026 either as a talk or a poster
Have the presenter registered for the conference.

Note that the person submitting the extended abstract to BISS does not have to be either the presenter or the original first author who submitted the abstract to TDWG 2026. It is important that whoever is the new first / submitting author be available to handle reviews in a timely manner.

Cost

Extended abstracts for TDWG 2026 will be published free of charge as a benefit of registration.
