Recommended Hotel

The Meeting Local Organiser has reserved a block of rooms at discounted rates at the Hyatt Regency in St. Louis, well located for a short bus journey to the Missouri Botanical Garden venue (bus to be provided by the Local Organiser - see Travel Page) and within easy walking distance of restaurants, etc. Also located immediately on the Metro rail line that runs between the aiport and downtown. The relatively easy bus journey offers us lower transport costs, helping to keep the Meeting Registration Fee down.

The hotel will be the focus for out-of-venue communications and a designated meeting point. Daily transportation between the Recommended Hotel and the Meeting venue will be provided (at specific times which will be advertised on this web site and at the hotel). We are unable to offer transport to/from any other accommodation.

Please note that having as many delegates as possible stay at the Recommended Hotel is vital for the smooth organisation of the Meeting and we strongly encourage you to stay at the Hyatt Regency.

It will be necessary to follow a specific booking procedure, using a major credit card, to get the discounted room rates. A link to the hotel booking site will be shown during the Registration process at RegOnline (see the Registration Page on this site). The discounted rates will be available until 24:00 on 13 September (25 days before the start of the meeting), but will be on a "subject to availability" basis, so we recommend you make your booking as early as possible after we release the booking procedure. Bookings made after the cut-off date will be charged at the hotel's prevailing rate.

The special Meeting rate is available to all delegates and their travelling partners who follow the booking procedure (subject to availability), and is available for 2 days either side of the main meeting period (i.e. 12 October - 23 October) subject to availability.
