TDWG 2010: Woods Hole Massachusetts September 26 - October 1

By: Lee Belbin

Dear TDWG Members and Friends

Donald Hobern as Chairman of TDWG has just announced on behalf of the TDWG Executive Committee that TDWG 2010 will be held at Woods Hole Massachusetts September 26 - October 1.

The decision this year was a difficult one. The proposals from Athens Georgia and New Orleans were excellent and it was with much regret that we couldn't hold the meeting in three locations!

Our thanks particularly go to Dianne Satterfield, Hank Bart and their teams for the work that they have done. Hopefully, we will get to one of those next time the meeting is held in North America.

A Local Organizing Committee has been established and we are now identifying and seeking members for the Programme Committee. If you are keen to be involved, please let me know.

Information about the meeting will appear ASAP. We look forward to seeing you in Woods Hole.

Lee Belbin
TDWG Secretariat
