Focus and Scope
This 'journal' is a processing track for the submission and review of TDWG Interest and Task Group charters. The journal is an implementation of the new TDWG Standards Development Process (or TDWG By-Laws) ratified in 2006 (http://www.tdwg.org/about-tdwg/process/).
Note: The information gathered by this system during charter submissions and reviews is presented on the TDWG website (www.tdwg.org) by Typo3 CMS rather than OJS.

Interest Groups provide a home base for TDWG Task Groups and members. IG charters must contain the following sections 1) Convener 2) Core members 3) Motivation 4) Goals, outputs and outcomes 5) Strategy 6) Becoming involved 7) History 8) Summary (public) 9) Resources

Publication Frequency
This journal does not follow any specific schedule. Charters are published on the TDWG website at www.tdwg.org as they are approved by the TDWG Executive Committee.

Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
