Basic Blog Etiquette
- A blog is a more personal environment than a Wiki. TDWG has provided this add-on to the Typo3 CMS to encourage some 'free thinking'.
- Most use Wikis as environments to achieve specific outcomes - in TDWG's case - usually documents. Blogs are less formal than WIkis and do not need to achieve a specific formal outcome.
- Blogs are a reflection of a personal opinion, often provocative and therefore an attempt to break new ground and stir up healthy thinking
- Brevity encourages reading
- References are strongly encouraged
