TapirBuilder launched

By: Renato De Giovanni

Output models and query templates are special XML files that play an important role in the TAPIR protocol. They are used in search and inventory operations, but sometimes can be difficult to write, especially for those who are unfamiliar with the protocol. A new web application was recently developed to help creating TAPIR output models and query templates through a friendly web interface. The new application should greatly facilitate interaction with TAPIR providers and design of new TAPIR networks. Additionally, it can help understanding how the protocol works. TapirBuilder was developed by Franck Theeten from the Royal Museum for Central Africa with TDWG's support. It is now publicly availabe at: http://tapir.tdwg.org/builder/
