Infrastructure Project: Supported Round-2 projects

The TDWG Infrastructure received 29 project proposals totaling US$730,782 for Round-2 support. The priorities were

• Advancing the deployment of LSIDs
• Aligning with the TDWG Architecture

15 proposals were able to be supported:

• Ontology-NCD integration (Neil Thomson) $2,000
• Intro to NCD documentation (Neil Thomson) $2,000
• Identify and database biodiversity organisations (Neil Thomson) $4,000
• TAPIR developers meeting (Renato De Giovanni) $22,000
• NCD Workshop (Neil Thomson) $10,000
• PyWraper Documentation (Marc Brugman) $13,327
• GeoInteroperability Testbed Pilot (Javier de la Torre) $13,000
• LSID resolver for specimens (Kevin Richards) $30,000
• LSIDs and .NET for TAPIR (Kevin Richards) $6,700
• HISPID over ABCD concept map (Greg Whitbread) $7,500
• LSID Resolution Service for CATE (Ben Clark) $10,500
• An LSID deployment policy (Greg Whitbread) $15,750
• TAPIR & Data Quality Monitoring in the Big Dig (Dave Vieglais) $27,375
• Align Species 2000/CoL with TCS & LSIDs (Richard White) $76,000
