Information Technologists Needed

By: Lee Belbin

We have a number of dedicated and experienced members that are streteched to the limit. These people have paid day jobs, yet are finding time to develop TDWG standards that advance the sharing of biodiversity data. Their work on our standards is greatly valued by us, and we hope by the community that values access to the world's biodiversity data.

But these people need help.

We urgently need people with information technology skills and an enthusiasm about working on international standards that contribute to protecting life of this planet.

A brochure has been produced which outlines our work and a call for help from people with information technology skills. Please help to distribute this brochure as widely as possible.

If you are such a person or know of such a person, we are very keen to hear from you. Please contact lee(at)tdwg(dot)org.
